As long as it stays in August it’s fine because my birthday is on the 21st. I can’t wait for Dark Knight rises because of Tom hardy that’s the only reason i’m going at midnight. i wonder if Bourne Legacy will have midnight screenings

hope they won’t delay it in Singapore… TDKR has started pre-sale of IMAX tickets here, premiere is mid July. wow if Bourne didn’t get delay in Singapore (schedule is Aug 8 to catch the National Day holiday), I’ll be among the first ones to watch it!

I don’t get the hype over the Batman movies with Bale. Can’t stand Bale as Batman. Renner’s Bourne movie will do well regardless of the competition. While I will pay to see the Bourne movie, I won’t even watch the Batman one when it finds it’s way to HBO.

I agree it was a good idea to move it as the dark knight will end up being a huge movie – seems to be dominating in terms of publicity already here in the UK with articles and adverts wherever you look. Hopefully pushing the date back will this will give the chance for Bourne to have a higher profile and hopefully a better box office. Sure it will be worth the wait!

I would have done the same thing honestly. Although I wouldn’t be too concerned with Total Recall. That movie doesn’t look too good but who knows. I will be there to see a topless Jeremy any day in August

I think this is a smart move. There were a couple other releases slated for August 3rd, and I was concerned about the competition for that weekend. I’d love the movie to premiere at #1, and this might help make that happen.
