Accordingly to joblo.com THE AVENGERS has already been given a home video release date. It’s still very early, but it looks like THE AVENGERS will be arriving on DVD, Blu-ray and Blu-ray 3D early in the fall on September 25. We have a look at what could potentially be the cover art and a look at what special features will be included with the release. Word is that a 10-disc set will also be released with THE AVENGERS that will include all of the films leading up to the film (Iron Man, Iron Man 2, The Incredible Hulk, Thor and Captain America), but no official word on that yet.

@Starchaserxoxo I actually like director commentaries because they say a lot of inside stuff about working on the movie, and they point out things you’d never notice too. However, it would be great if it included commentary from the actors. I’d love to hear more wisecracks from Robert Downey Jr. X)
