Introducing our third addition to the music page, Aaron Durr; a multidimensional musician who is also a close friend of Mr. Renner’s.
Aaron Durr‘s music has been described as “clever,” “exuberant,” and “infectious” by radio personalities. Somewhere between the influences of The Beatles, Billy Joel and Ben Folds, he developed an energetic style of piano rock mixed with catchy melodies and rich harmony.
Raised in a family of musicians, Aaron began his musical career in Jeremy’s hometown of Modesto. You can now catch him performing live in Hollywood and Downtown LA. Not in Southern California? Check out his latest videos online featuring acoustic versions of his original material and Aaron’s renditions of popular songs.

OMG!!! I loves this song!!! I need to hear more about him
I love to learn about all these JLR connections, and it exposes us to other talented artists. I really enjoyed this one! Thanks for keeping us informed!
I wanna read and hear about Jeremy Renner on The Jeremy Renner site.
Although I thought his voice was good I didn’t like the way he sang it if that makes sense. But I do love to hear what type of music Jeremy is into. Some of my favourite artists I have discovered through actors that I like including Melissa Etheridge and The Jeff Healey Band who I got into through being a fan of Patrick Swayze. So please continue to keep us informed Jolie. Thanks.
YAY! I’ve heard Aaron live (he performed with American Pie actor Thomas Ian Nicholas) for our birthdays and was spectacular! We were in a cool little wine bar in Modesto—too small a venue for such a great big voice! Aaron is incredibly talented and so down-to-earth, totally approachable in person/on stage with music that is equally accessible. Love that he got a shout-out here on JLR’s site. Hope you all get a chance to listen to more of his tunes.
Not bad..I’d like to hear more so to form an opinion.
Not bad…. im not a big fan of the song though if he would have sung it diffrently i would have liked it more.
but thanks for the post!
love Aaron’s music, have followed him for years. Great talent.
it’s a great song! I love it but it’s not wht i normaly listen too.
Love him! Great performer with amazing songs… His album Another Long Semester will always be my favorite; it’s filled with catchy, fun tunes most of which you’d expect to hear on the radio. Some of his covers or even better than the originals. Im sad he’s no longer around Modesto as much but I am happy that he’s moving up and more people are getting to hear his music!
