The Vashta Nerada is a rock band from Los Angeles that derives it’s bold sound from bands like The Mars Volta, Queens of the Stone Age, and Radiohead.

Originating out of Modesto, California, singer/songwriter Jeff Bonilla enlisted the talents of producer Adam Ruppel and bassist Anthony Palermo to help him realize his musical vision. After several months of work in the studio and armed with their self-titled album, Jeff and Anthony relocated to Los Angeles determined to discover musicians capable of translating the unique sound of the album to the stage. There they met Hendrix-fanatic and Chicago native Mark Perez and AJ Brown, a drum student at the Musician’s Institute in Hollywood.
